Breaking the Rules

Many of us carry wounds from our childhood that, whether we realize it or not, can damage our relationships as adults. The unaddressed issues of our past can affect us negatively in the present, in both our personal and professional lives. In this highly-praised and powerful presentation, the audience will learn the three unspoken rules that children follow in response to difficult family experiences, and how we can break those rules as adults so that we can effectively put our past in the past, enjoy the present, and be hopeful about the future.

The pressures of life at times have a way of holding us captive, robbing us of the freedom to experience life to the fullest. While we cannot choose whether or not stressful things happen in our lives, we can choose how to respond to them. In this presentation audience members will discover how to EMBRACE our problems, EXPERIENCE forgiveness, ENLIST the help of others, and ENVISION our purpose so we can have the kind of life we long for.

Communication 101

Good and healthy communication is essential to our personal relationships and it is crucial to building a successful business. Learning basic communication skills will help build strong relationships between employees, it will help avoid misunderstandings and prevents tension, and help employees to feel respected. Dan speaks about the differences between being aggressive vs. being assertive, clean talk vs. muddy talk, “I” language vs. “you” language, and spoken vs. unspoken communication.
